MissionSAFE welcomes volunteers and partners. Volunteers and partners can help with tutoring and academic support, can become mentors,
can help chaperone events, host corporate career days or tours, offer a program such as dance, writing, entrepreneurship or business skills.
Volunteers are usually individuals and may come from a partner organization. Partners are usually churches, corporations, colleges, hospitals,
businesses or other.
Volunteers can participate in community service or a college day. We are open to hearing your ideas and interests.
Volunteers help youth broaden their social networks. Partners and volunteers help us enrich the knowledge and experience base of MissionSAFE youth.

Tutors/Mentors
Do you have a skill to teach? A program to offer? A worksite for career visits? Or simply want to tutor or mentor? MIssionSAFE needs you!
Looking for volunteers who can relate well to diverse teens and young adults and are willing to give at least 2 hours each week tutoring or mentoring youth, have a skill they wish to share with youth, or are able to volunteer on field trips or at community events. Tutoring involves one-on-one academic tutoring in math, English, languages or social studies. Mentoring involves being willing to spend time with a youth or small group on a regular basis. We will provide orientation, training and ongoing support.
